Mortimer Methodist Church
Mortimer Methodist Church Update Spring 2022
Mortimer Methodist Church is now meeting regularly for Sunday morning worship services each week, usually commencing at 10:30 am. Note we are still observing some COVID safeguards, even though the requirements for social distancing and face mask wearing have recently been relaxed nationally. Note also, the Basingstoke & Reading Methodist Circuit is continuing to provide a weekly pre-recorded service online for those who wish to continue worshiping in the safety of their own homes.
Our regular Sunday Worship Service takes place in the Methodist Church at 10:30 am each week, usually for around an hour. We hope in the near future to be able to offer a time for coffee and a chat after the service, but are currently waiting for the numbers of COVID cases in West Berkshire to decline to a safer level. We offer Junior church for younger members once a month, and also a crèche corner in the church for our family services, including all age worship.
Weekly church services are also posted on Facebook @Mortimer Methodist Church. We welcome friends, both old and new, to join us week by week, or to just come and visit and see what we’re like!
