This year to give people loads of planning time we can announce that the theme for the 2024 MVP Scarecrow Trail is Myths & Legends. This theme offers a wide range of possibilities for creating a unique and memorable scarecrow. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Medusa: A Greek mythological creature with snakes for hair.
King Arthur: Legendary British king who wielded the sword Excalibur.
Mermaids: Mythical creatures that are half-human and half-fish.
Robin Hood: A heroic outlaw from English folklore.
These are just a few examples to inspire your creativity. You can also consider myths and legends from around the world, such as Anansi the Spider from African folklore or Quetzalcoatl from Aztec mythology. The possibilities are endless! More info will follow later in the year…but get your thinking caps on!! As always, the Scarecrow trail will run in the October half-term week.
