Important-EMAIL SCAM WARNING

Some residents have received a fraudulent email purporting to be from Mortimer Village Partnership with the subject line "Important Meeting Report and 2026 Special Updates". The email did NOT come from us. It was sent from the address administrator@gondtc.com and has no connection to MVP whatsoever. The email asks you to open an attachment and sign in with your email address. This is a phishing attack designed to steal your password. DO NOT open the attachment. DO NOT enter your details anywhere it leads. If you have already opened the attachment and entered any credentials, change your email password immediately and check your other accounts if you reuse passwords. Our genuine email addresses are in the domain @mortimervillage.org.uk. Any legitimate communication from MVP will come from that domain. Thank you Doug Overett Chair - MVP
