Mortimer Table Tennis Club

Table tennis is great because anyone can have a go.  It gets people out, having fun, moving and meeting new people. We’re a very friendly bunch and are glad to have new players, including beginners.  It’s not for profit; we just get together and play (and laugh!).  It’s at Mortimer Methodist Hall every Thursday afternoon.

1pm: Setting up the tables (you are welcome to help – but not obliged to).

1:15pm:  Games commence.  This session is just for fun.  There’s a tea break in the middle.

3pm:  It gets a bit more competitive, for those who like a challenge.  They finish about 4:15pm and pack away.

You can turn up whenever suits you.  The first time is free, after that it’s £4pp per visit (covers hall hire, plus equipment wear & tear).  You must wear sensible, supportive shoes, with non-marking soles.  Adults only.

On Fridays in term-time only, we run an after-school session for kids age 11-18. This is FREE and is manned by adult volunteers who are all DBS-checked.

Mortimer Methodist Hall.

Friday 4:30-5:30pm.
