Currently 850,000 people in the UK suffer from Dementia and mental health generally has a much higher profile and awareness these days in society.   

As part of our local education programme Mortimer Surgery Patient Participation Group (PPG) have organised an event where a range of expert speakers led by Dr Matt Evans, Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist (Newbury Older Persons Mental Health Service) will deliver information and support for those living with or caring for someone with mental distress in later life.

This free event will take place at St John’s Hall, Mortimer, starting at 6.45 p.m. 26th June.  There will tea and coffee available on entry and after the presentations a Q&A session with the panel of experts with the event finishing at 9.00 p.m.
