Music for a Spring Evening - SBCB

Start Date
Start Time
07:00 pm
Location
St. John's Church

Music for a Spring Evening promises an exciting programme of music for the audience. There will be a flute solo from a forgotten opera, a clarinet solo composed by George Gershwin, and a Dixie group will perform Tiger Rag. If those pieces are not tempting enough the the 45 piece band will capture your imagination with an exhilarating ride along a river, and Albion Heritage , which takes from your England to Scotland via Wales. If you fancy something a bit different, how about a Doris Day selection or the rousing Can-Can chorus.

The Royal Humane Society is the chosen charity for the event, so go along to find out more and help support them. The band also has a special moment planned during the evening, but you will need to be there to find out more about that, as it is a secret for now!

Tickets will be available from SBCB_Music@yahoo.com or directly from Dads Shop & Baobab in Mortimer nearer the time, £10 in advance, £12 on the door, under 16s free with accompanying adult
