Game On! The Mortimer Scarecrow Trail Returns
Roll the dice, grab your controller and lace up your walking shoes. The Mortimer Scarecrow Trail is back for 2026, and this year the theme is ‘Game On’.
From Saturday 24 October to Sunday 01 November, the village will be taken over by scarecrows inspired by computer games, playground favourites, classic family entertainment and plenty of board games. Think Sonic, Minecraft, Dobble, Cluedo, Monopoly and Snakes and Ladders. How many can you spot?
Bring the family, bring a friend, bring your competitive streak. Whether you’re determined to find every last scarecrow or fancy a leisurely autumn wander, the trail is an affordable daytime activity for all ages. It’s open daily from 9am until dusk throughout half term.
