‘Follow the Star’ Advent Workshop
St John’s Church, Mortimer, Friday 20th December
You are warmly invited to share in the hope and joy of the Advent journey and to anticipate the birth of Jesus at the Advent Workshop in St John’s church on Friday 20th December from 9.45am – 11.45 am. The morning will begin with songs and carols, Bible readings and a chance to dance! After refreshments, there will be crafts including candle-making, cards, decorating biscuits, Advent wreaths and sun catchers. Please bring a named bag for carrying your crafts.
Please return Advent Worksop Form to your school or to St John’s church office by Friday 13th December. You may prefer to email admin@mortimerbenefice.co.uk with names and contact details. A donation of £4.00 per child is requested for materials; under-fives must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Help with crafts, music or refreshments would be warmly received.
