Defibrillators - spring 2017

The much-awaited defibrillators have arrived! After a significant delay due to a change in the specification for the boxes in which they are being mounted, the three defibrillators will installed at the following locations:  

• On the outside of The Horse & Groom on The Street
• On the outside of Mortimer Surgery on Victoria Road
• On the outside of the Sansome & George office on West End Road

MVP thanks those three businesses for agreeing to host the defibrillators for the benefit of the whole village. Two of the defibrillators are being funded by MVP and the third by Tadley First Responders from a grant received from AWE for this purpose. Anyone can use a defibrillator without previous instruction: if you call the emergency services with a medical situation which needs a defibrillator, you will be given instructions on how to get one. The defibrillator itself is self-explanatory so anyone can confidently use it.
