Logo Competition

MVP held a competition in March 2010 to design it a logo. This was the brief for entries to follow. A good total number of entries was received. Thank you to all those who took time and effort to submit and entry to our logo competition. The judges felt there were many good ideas.

The winner in the under 13 section was Sophie James
The winner in the 13 to under 21 section was Katie Hannawin
The winner in the adult section was Caroline Green

The overall winner was Sophie James and here is the new MVP logo:

The winning entry was chosen because it combines elements of the rural nature of our village, surrounded by trees, a home to all kinds of people, displaying a happy, positive outlook. The colours are vibrant and its unfinished nature reflects the fact that MVP's work is ongoing. It is also very suitable to adapt into a logo for different sizes and purposes.
