September "Spring" Clean

MVP is delighted to be scheduling our annual “Spring Clean” as part of the Nationwide Litter Pick Campaign on September 12th from 2 until 4 o’clock, meeting at the Horse & Groom Garden as usual.

Whilst the village actually isn’t looking too bad, it will be good to give it a little tidy before Autumn sets in.

We have sought confirmation that this activity is “allowed” under the current Covid 19 guidelines and are pleased that this is fully supported by West Berks Council. Litter Pickers and bags will again be provided and will have been sanitised. We ask people to bring their own hand sanitiser and also gloves if they wish. Of course we will all be respecting the 2m Social Distance guidelines and will ask people to be patient and keep their distance if we have a queue giving out Litter pickers.

We hope as many people as possible join us in the fresh air and use the opportunity for a stroll around the village, whilst doing something worthwhile!
