In 2019, MVP decided that, after 10 successful years, the classic format Mortimer Fun Day deserved a rest and of course Covid lockdowns made re-starting impossible in 2020 and 2021.

In 2022 MVP supported the Queens Jubilee Celebrations organized by SMPC and in 2023 MVP together with Mortimer Music Live hosted the Coronation Event. So certainly no Fun Day in 2023.

Nellie Bly Review

We had another fabulous, travelling theatre show on Saturday night - with the bonus of home grown highly talented Laura H - in this one woman show about the true grit of a female pioneering journalist in the late 1800's, who made such a difference to the world she lived in. We are so spoilt to have these quality, polished and amazing shows come to our village. All because they are small and travelling, they could still certainly hold their own on any stage in London. Outstanding - thank you so much to all the MVP organisers and the Nellie Bly writer, director, Laura and crew
