Mortimer's local choir, The Hurst Singers, is holding an open evening on Thursday 12th December. Come to St. Johns Hall from 8pm to join us. Anyone is welcome to listen to part of a rehearsal, and join in with some simple part songs and Christmas music. Refreshments will be available through the evening.

Silver Sunday in Mortimer has become a much anticipated annual event. Although a tried and tested formula things can sometimes go a little awry, which does add spice and gives us all a chuckle in the end. This year's event will be talked about for some time to come.
In aid of MacMillan Cancer Support - you can enjoy wine and minced pies while you make your own Christmas wreath and table decorations. All materials supplied - just bring your own secateurs.

Having returned to Saturday league cricket a few years ago, Mortimer romped away with the Berkshire Cricket League Division Three title to secure promotion to Division Two.
