MVP Represented at Reading Minster Festival of Remembrance
On the evening of Saturday 3rd November, at the Reading Minster of St Mary the Virgin, the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire and the Berkshire Branch of the Royal British Legion held a County Concert and Festival of Remembrance to commemorate the Centenary of the World War One Armistice.
Budgens Contributes to Success of Scarecrow Trail
This year MVP "gave" the Scarecrow Trail to St. Mary's School PTA. MVP is very pleased that the event was successful, a great amount of money was raised, and, as every year, Budgens played a big part in that.

Remembrance Day 2018 - War Memorial
As is to be expected a significantly larger than usual crowd attended the act of remembrance at the War Memorial today, Sunday 11th November 2018. With so much in the news about the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, honouring those who fought and died for our country was in everyone's thoughts.
Walking for Health - Mortimer Walks (5.25 miles)
This walk takes place every Tuesday and starts at Mortimer Community Centre car park (RG7 3RD) opposite The Horse & Groom PH. This is a faster paced walk of around 5.25 miles that last from 1 hr 45 mins to 2 Hrs. The walk is free of charge.

This walk takes place every Tuesday and starts at Mortimer Community Centre car park (RG7 3RD) opposite The Horse & Groom PH. This is a gentle walk mainly over flat terrain of around 1.75 to 2 miles that last about 1 hr. (particularly intended for those that would like to start walking, returning from injury or illness, etc.). The walk is free of charge.
