Save the Children Midsummer Music
Our Midsummer Music event returns on Sunday 23rd June 2024 at the slightly later time of 12:30pm at Little Manor, Church Lane, Burghfield Village, RG30 3TG. Midsummer Music is an afternoon of music and entertainment in a lovely garden setting.
The Friends of Mortimer Library invite you to ‘An Evening with Local Authors‘
The writers will each give a short talk and participate in a Q & A session on how they began writing, and their journey from putting pen to paper to achieving their goal of becoming a published author.

Mortimer PPG was founded in 2011 and meets every 2 months in a closed session. It is comprised of 12 local volunteers (patient representatives) to include a Chair and Vice Chair, Practice Staff Representative and one GP.

MVP is always busy, working hard to deliver its motto “Enriching Village Life”.
Last year we saw the Spring Clean, Visiting Theatre, Lunch Club, Scarecrow trail and more. For those interested to learn a little more about the work the MVP does… and hopefully think about joining us, our AGM will be held at the Victoria Arms at 7:30pm on 11th March
