Brilliance

If the applause was anything to go by, the audience of Farnham Maltings' production of Brilliance in St. John's Hall last Saturday (8th December) enjoyed every minute. The plot about thwarted love and equally thwarted ambitions to bring electricity to a remote village could have been trite and succumbed to caricature. Instead we had subtle portrayal of character, interesting twists to the plot including no obvious happy ending but some serious thoughts. The staging was ingenious and the instrumental and narrated sections added a welcome dimension to the atmosphere.

If you were at the show and would like to send Farnham Maltings your own views, they would love to hear from you. You can email them as shown below.
