The governors of St. John and St. Mary's schools have announced the start of a consultation to include parents, staff, the local community, local authority and diocese regarding the possible federation of the two schools.

Following the 18:00 Advent Service at St. John's church there will be a procession to the Fairground for the blessing and lighting of the tree at 19:00
