Christmas 2009

Sunday 30th November saw about 80 children in fancy dress and their parents excitedly making Christmas Tree decorations in the Community Centre. The decorations were taken across the road to the Christmas Tree in the garden of the Horse and Groom Public House (many thanks to Craig Lawson, the landlord). The tree was arranged by Together in Mission with the tree itself donated by Englefield Estate and the lights by John Lewis Partnership. Once the decorations were placed on the tree, the winners of the fancy dress competition (sisters Emily and Daisy Hodgson) turned on the lights to general applause.
