Full House! The Theatre Comes to Mortimer
Little Bulb Theatre company played to a full house in St. John's Hall last night (21st March). Everyone laughed almost non-stop as, with amazing energy, the cast sang, danced and proclaimed their way through the hilarious tale of the strife between two villages and how it was resolved. Several members of the audience were inveigled into taking to the stage for cameo performances and the whole audience took part in a staged battle with great gusto!
It will be several days before our sides have stopped aching from laughing which will give us time to reflect on the message the play contained about tolerance and cooperation in all communities. Based on the applause and the response to questionnaires handed out on the night , MVP will have to look round for further travelling theatre productions to promote in the future.
