South Berks Concert Band Rehearsals
Rehearsal Friday 19:45 to 22:00 hrs at Mortimer Methodist Church, 17 West End Road, RG7 3TE.Why not pop along and have a listen while we rehearse for our next event.
Film Club The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Club
The Mortimer Film Club meets on the third Wednesday of every month from September to June in the community Centre on Mortimer Fairground. There is ample parking and some of us adjourn to the Horse and Groom afterwards to discuss the film in a lighthearted way. Annual membership is £40 and guests pay £5 per visit.
Mortimer Toddlers
All parents and carers with babies and preschool children welcome. Lots of different toys and activities. Includes healthy snack for children, coffee tea for adults. £2 per child + adult plys 50p for extra children over 1 year
Emergency First Aid and Defib Training
Local charity CCB is running a training session in Mortimer in partnership
with Heartstart Swallowfield that will include emergency first aid training
and a practical demonstration of how to use defibrillators.
This training is FREE to attend and light refreshments will be provided.
Access to rural areas can be time consuming for community first responders
and emergency services, particularly if the weather is bad, so the knowledge
of local people could save a life! The meeting is being funded by Adult
