Our regular Sunday Worship Service takes place in the Methodist Church at 10:30 am each week, usually for around an hour.   We offer Junior church for younger members once a month, and also a crèche corner in the church for our family services, including all age worship.

Weekly church services are also posted on Facebook @Mortimer Methodist Church.  We welcome friends, both old and new, to join us week by week, or to just come and visit and see what we’re like!

We’re a partnership of transport companies, local authorities and passenger groups which have come together to bring you routes and times for all travel in Great Britain by bus, rail, coach and ferry, and to provide it in as many different ways as we can so that you can always reach us.

Provides transport by car to anyone who is unable to use other means, in particular for medical appointments. It serves the parishes of Burghfield, Mortimer West End, Stratfield Mortimer, Silchester, Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet. Volunteers use their own cars to take people in need (many of them elderly and infirm) to and from local hospitals, surgeries, dentists, opticians etc. In addition the Bureau organises transport to local day centres for some elderly residents. Passengers are encouraged to make a donation towards the cost of the service. If you or anyone you know needs such a service, phone the office on 0118 983 1814 between 9:30 and 11:30 Monday to Friday.
