The Mortimer Local History Group (MLHG) meets every third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm in the hall at the Methodist Church. Its aim is to collect and record and educate on all aspects of local history. Visitors and new members very welcome.

Mansion house and estate with rooms, conference facilities and golf course

Mortimer and Burghfield toy library is a service run by volunteers providing toys to local families. It runs on the fourth Saturday of the month at Mortimer Methodist church 9.30am-11am. Toys can be hired through a yearly membership for £20 or individually for a months hire and toys can be renewed on payment of another months hire. Burghfield & Mortimer Photo Club has an exciting and varied programme. We are a friendly group who meet fortnightly from September to July for talks, workshops, competitions, outings, and discussions.
