1st Mortimer BP Cubs in Crime Scene!
On the 7th May the Cubs had a visit from PC Colin Boyes. He gave the Cubs a brief history lesson about the police in general and Thames Valley Police in particular. Next he brought out some exhibits from the police museum; the Cubs had great fun trying it all on.
After that PC Boyes set up a crime scene of a shooting; the Cubs then had the responsibility of keeping the scene secure and gathering all the evidence in bags and boxes. All this was topped off by having a look round the police car and playing with the sirens. Thank you to PC Boyes and Thames Valley police, the Cubs thoroughly enjoyed the evening!
